The basis of this work is an exploration of the concept of indoctrination and how the forced adherence and repetition of certain acts leads to a loss in their significance and rich symbolisms. Individuals were asked to recite religious prayers, nursery rhymes and other poems they were forced to commit to memory when they were children at school, at religious lessons or at home. Senselessness and an un-healthy obsession emerge though the hypnotic repetition and regurgitation of phrases and the diffusion and layering of images.
